Baisch Engineering happily helped 12 Webelo Scouts earn their engineering pin!

At Baisch's office, Todd Van Gompel, Process Engineer, and Jeff Boyce, Information Technology Manager, led the Webelos in their various exercise requirements. The Webelos accomplished the following: interviewed an engineer on the various engineering occupations, measured and drew a floor plan, reviewed plans and drawings to build a facility or product, found out how electricity is generated and sent, constructed a working electrical circuit, and learned about three different bridge designs.

Highlights for the Webelos included learning how toilet paper is made and constructing a bridge using index cards – the bridge designs were tested between two books using pennies as weights.
