Baisch Engineering Broke Ground Celebrating Wausau Paper's Largest Capital Project in Their HistoryKaukauna, WI, 8/16/2011 - Baisch Engineering is providing full detailed project engineering, including process, mechanical, civil, structural, architectural, electrical, and process control services for the addition of a large tissue machine manufacturing facility at the Harrodsburg, Kentucky, Wausau Paper Tissue segment converting plant. This is the largest capital project in Wausau Paper's history. On 8/2/2011, along with Wausau Paper company executives, plant employees, and local and state officials, Baisch Engineering participated in a groundbreaking ceremony - celebrating the expansion project in Harrodsburg. Wausau Paper Vice President, Mike Wildenburg, welcomed those who attended the ceremony and said, "This is a really great day for Wausau Paper, our current and future employees, and this community." At the groundbreaking, Tom Howatt, President and Chief Executive Officer of Wausau Paper, said that expansion will add 76 full-time jobs to the facility's current workforce of over 460 people. He stated, "I can't help but think about the contrast between the positive news we have here today and the current economic situation."
