Principals.

Todd R. Van Gompel, P.E., ​President, Project Manager, Process Engineer

Todd serves as the President of Baisch Engineering and brings a wealth of expertise with over 28 years of project experience, 18 of those years are with our team.  As a registered Professional Engineer in several states, his experience encompasses a wide array of project management roles, from conducting in-depth studies to overseeing new plant installations and major equipment rebuilds. Clients recognize Todd to be a highly skilled Project Manager who rely on his expertise to successfully lead and manage their complex and important projects.  Away from the office, Todd cherishes the life he’s built with his high school sweetheart, now wife, Jenni and their two children.  An avid traveler, his passion for exploring has led him to all 50 states, Canada, Mexico, China and Europe.  Weekends often find him surrounded by friends and family sharing good times as he tries to master the art of grilling and barbecuing.  Todd’s leadership at Baisch is not just about project success; it’s about fostering a culture of connectedness, embracing challenges, and transforming our clients’ visions into realities.

David R. Weyers,​ Vice President, Executive Project Management Lead, Project Manager

Dave has 39 years of experience in providing process engineering services, and has been with Baisch for 28  years. Dave oversees a multi-disciplined engineering team responsible for leading project management standards and systems throughout Baisch. Dave has expertise in all facets of Project Management for our general industrial clients, including overseeing funding approval through construction and commissioning of equipment; guiding equipment suppliers on proper integration; developing commissioning plans for construction checkout and startup; developing specification packages; and providing technical and commercial analysis for client purchases. Dave married his high school sweetheart, Denise, with whom he as two lovely daughters, both are married and living in the Fox Valley area. They enjoy spending time together up north, fishing and hunting. Dave participates in the Baisch turkey, deer archery, and deer gun annual contest, occasionally winning the spring turkey and deer archery traveling trophies.

Brian J. Dollevoet, P.E.,​ Corporate Director, Executive Technical Lead, Electrical Engineer

Brian has 35 years of experience with Baisch. In collaboration with the technical team, Brian is responsible for leading Baisch’s technical efforts to consistently deliver the highest quality integration engineering services to the industry. He is responsible for the design and installation of industrial electrical power systems, supervising design efforts, project management, specifying electrical equipment, analyzing vendor proposals, and making recommendations for electrical equipment purchase. Brian and his wife Connie have five children. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, and spending family time with Connie and their kids and grandkids.

Lee J. St. Aubin, AIA, ​Principal, Architect, Project Manager

Lee serves as Project Architect on a wide range of commercial and industrial projects, and has 34 years of experience at Baisch. He combines technology and innovation to achieve cost effective and efficient results. His professional services include project development from inception to completion, facility master planning, scope development, construction cost estimating, project scheduling, 3D visualization, material selection, preparation of construction documents and specifications, and construction administration. Lee and wife Lynn have been married over 35 years, and have three children together. Away from the office, he enjoys a balance of family life and hobbies like archery, flying, music, home renovation and woodworking.

Phillip R. Gocker,​ Principal, Process Department Lead, Process Engineer

Phil has 16 years of experience at Baisch. As a process engineer, Phil directs the HVAC, mechanical and process portions of projects. His responsibilities include the HVAC and process ventilation system design for paper/tissue machine rooms, warehouses, pulpers, MCC/electrical rooms, and office spaces. Phil has been married to his wife, Leah, for 8 years. They attended the same high school and reconnected “up north” after college, where both of their families happen to have cottages on the same lake. They have been blessed with two daughters and a son, who understandably takes up most of their time. They enjoy spending their free time with friends and family, and take many trips up to the cottage. Phil enjoys hunting, fishing, and volunteering with the local youth baseball organization.

Jeannine M. Powell, P.E.,​ Principal, CSA Department Lead, Civil/Structural Engineer

Jeannine has 23 years of experience in the industry and has been with Baisch for 14 years. Her responsibilities include providing structural engineering support to lead structural engineers, analysis and designing of building structures and machine equipment support elements, 2D and 3D computer analysis of complex structures to ensure design code compliance; supervising and assisting CAD technicians and designers in the preparation of construction documents, and working with leadership to identify potential improvements to enhance the success of Baisch. Jeannine, her husband Brian, their two daughters, and their two coonhounds enjoy camping across Wisconsin and the whole United States. Jeannine is also the Troop Leader and Cookie Manager for both of her daughter’s Girl Scout troops.  In her downtime she enjoys reading, knitting, and cooking for friends and family.

Eric P. Eisenhauer, P.E., ​Principal, Electrical Department Lead, Electrical Engineer

Eric has 24 years of experience in manufacturing and has been with Baisch for 9 years. He has experience in a variety of operations leadership and process improvement roles, as well as manufacturing and control systems upgrades. His expertise also includes writing scope of work documents for equipment and cable installations, providing construction, equipment checkout, and startup assistance. Eric’s wife, Susan, and two children fill his free time with coaching various youth sports, swimming, boating, and other outdoor activities. They are active travelers, and have earned the nicknames “Chip and Joanna” for all of the house projects they undertake.

Ronald A. Clarke, Jr., P.E., ​Principal, Project Manager, Process Engineer

Ron has 25 years of engineering and project management experience serving primarily in the paper industry, 8 years of which have been at Baisch. He provides management services for projects from inception through installation, checkout and startup. He works closely with project owners, equipment vendors and contractors to develop detailed project scopes, equipment specifications, cost estimates, and project schedules. Ron, his wife Barb, and their 2 children enjoy spending time at their cottage in Door County when they are not travelling to a baseball, soccer, or hockey tournament.

Joel W. Berg, P.E., ​Principal, Civil/Structural Resource Lead, Civil/Structural Engineer

Joel has 20 years of experience in the industry with 16 of those years at Baisch. He has a broad range of structural engineering experience, from industrial to bridge construction. Joel has designed personnel safety devices for various industries including pulp and paper, power generation, and food industries. Joel’s responsibilities include: providing structural engineering support to Lead Structural Engineers at Baisch; analysis and design of building structures and machine equipment support elements; field verification of existing conditions; 2D and 3D computer analysis of complex structures to ensure design code compliance; supervising CAD technicians and designers in the preparation of construction documents; and construction-related field administration activities. Joel and his wife Tricia have one son. Together they enjoy travelling to zoos as well as learning about exotic animals. Joel enjoys working on various woodworking projects around the house.
