Thanks – giving at Baisch

In the month best known for the Thanksgiving holiday, it seems fitting to look back on the year at Baisch, specifically regarding our community involvement and how Baisch recognizes team member’s interests.

Baisch provides eight hours per year for each team member to use for volunteering. Team members are encouraged to follow their passion with their volunteer hours; may it be raking leaves in the fall through an organization, volunteering at church, judging at business competitions or being a mentor to students. Baisch also coordinates a few opportunities during the year for group volunteering. In 2023, a group spent a morning at Feeding America sorting 2,500 lbs of frozen corn on the cob, bagged 1,000 lbs of sugar for the grocery shelves at Paul’s Pantry and will be volunteering at Kimberly Clark’s Diaper Bank and manning some red kettles for the Salvation Army.

In addition, Baisch ran several donation drives. Our team members came together to be a positive force in the community we work and live in. We provided over 4,000 items to Jake’s Network of Hope (diapers and feminine hygiene items), almost 1,000 items (backpacks, notebooks, crayons, glue etc.) to the Back to School Program with Outagamie County and 47 winter wear items to Victor Haen Elementary School.

Our team members will be donating food and toys to Saving Paws Animal Rescue and items to Soar Fox Cities in December as part of our holiday drives.

The involvement shows how the Baisch team cares and how management understands team members have important aspects of their lives beyond working at Baisch. We challenge you to find a way to be a part of your community through involvement! Let us know what you are passionate about!
